Moncton is in great shape to face the future, according to Mayor George LeBlanc.
He says the City weathered the last decade of economic turmoil quite well, and is well positioned for the future.
LeBlanc says with the construction of the downtown events centre finally underway, we can only draw more people to Greater Moncton.
He says the centre will cement our position as the premiere sports and entertainment capital of Atlantic Canada.
“It will be the most impactful development in our downtown in decades, perhaps ever,” says LeBlanc. “It will initiate a revitalization of our downtown which will contribute to our prosperity as a city.”
LeBlanc says many organizations including KPMG, and the Canadian Federation of Independent Business rank Moncton as one of the best places in Canada to work and live.
“The people who live here have a culture of success, we have that can do attitude, the determination, the inspiration, the leadership, the desire to excel, and yes of course to punch above our weight class,” says LeBlanc.
LeBlanc says we are a small city, with a world class facilities which enabled us to host events like the FIFA Women’s World Cup, and enormous concerts like the Rolling Stones, and AC/DC.
