In April, nearly 140, 000 LED bulbs and low flow showerheads were purchased in an effort to save money.
NB Power held a Smart Habits rebate, and New Brunswickers were given money back if bulbs and showerheads were purchased at one of more than 200 stores across the province.
The initiative was launched by the utility in an effort to help customers control the amount of electricity they are using each month.
