New Brunswick chef Jesse Vergen will be joining other chefs from around the world for “Devour…..The Food Film Fest” next week in Wolfville. The headliner is Anthony Bourdain of CNN fame.
Vergen says when it comes to food over the past fifteen years, he notices people have broadened their horizons.
He was raised on a small organic farm in Fundy Hills and maintains the local food movement is here to stay because people want to taste the place and their food to be as fresh as possible.
Vergen, with the Saint John Ale House, Smoking Pig BBQ and Cleaver Catering, predicts the local food movement is going to grow because people want what they eat to be as fresh as possible.
