A new face and a familiar face from the Liberals are among those in Metro Moncton heading to the legislature this fall.
Monique LeBlanc says her win was part of great team work but she notes voters were often confused about the revamped riding of Moncton East.
After redistribution, she says pieces of several other ridings were included and she often found herself explaining that as she went campaigning.
Meantime, Roger Melanson had no problem winning his seat again in Dieppe for the Grits but he adds he’s still humbled.
Although Dieppe is a growing community, Melanson says there’s a great balance between the younger generation and retirees.
