13 students from Petitcodiac Regional School are going to benefit from the Cops, Kids and Computers program.
Southeast RCMP Community Program Officer Judy Cyr says they will be receiving laptops at a presentation tonight.
The 13 students were chosen with the help of the Boys and Girls Club.
Cyr says, “The computers have brought confidence, school grades up and a lot more kids to graduate, so there is a lot of benefit to having this project.”
This is a pilot project, and these students are the first in New Brunswick to benefit.
The RCMP Foundation based in Toronto raises funds to support the Cops, Kids and Computers program.
