Premier Brian Gallant has issued a statement in response to the recent attack in France.
Gallant says New Brunswickers are saddened by the horrific events that have unfolded in France and that thoughts are with the people of Nice and with all of those affected by this tragedy.

A Tunisian living in France drove a large truck through crowds celebrating the French National Holiday killing more than 80 people.
In a statement from Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister says he is heartbroken to learn of the dozens of innocent victims who were killed or injured as a result of the terrorist attacks.
Trudeau says senseless acts like this one are not isolated events, and the government will continue to work with their Allies and partners to fight terrorism in all of its forms.
