A senior petroleum analyst is suggesting drivers in New Brunswick head to their nearest gas station before midnight.
Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com says a big change in prices is coming.
“This week is a game-changer. We’re looking at a 4.2 cent per litre increase for gasoline,” he notes.
Diesel prices are expected to jump almost 2 cents when the provincial regulator makes its weekly adjustment overnight.
McTeague says a gasoline inventory decline in the U.S. pushed up prices across North America and New Brunswick’s regulated market is now playing catch-up.
