NB Aquaculture Being Featured In Moncton Wine and Food Expo

The lineup for the second oldest wine show in Canada has been unveiled and it promises to have a large selection of wine dinners, tastings and bottles… never before available in New Brunswick.

Now in its 27th year, the Moncton World Wine and Food Expo is also featuring provincial aquaculture products including caviar, oysters and salmon.

Chairman Bill Vance says many of the Grand Tasting sessions are so popular they sell out in minutes.

“People come to this event, they come to drink wine of course but they also come to get a little bit of education and little bit entertainment. And over the course of 27 years, people have become more educated,” he notes.

Vance believes wine drinkers in Southeast New Brunswick have become the most knowledgeable in the province.

A “girls night out” event is new this year featuring select wines and gourmet food prepared by Chef Matt Pennell.

The 8-day event kicks off on October 28th.

Tickets for this year’s Wine Expo go on sale this Saturday at 10am, visit tickets.moncton.ca
