N.B. fuel prices shift: Gas up, diesel down

The weekly fuel price shuffle has landed, and it’s sending gas and diesel in opposite directions.

The maximum price for regular self-serve gasoline increased overnight by 1.2 cents per litre, bringing it to around $1.46.

Diesel dropped by just under one cent, with the new maximum sitting at approximately $1.49 per litre.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.45 to $1.49 per litre, while diesel is selling for between $1.45 and $1.49 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.50 per litre, diesel costs around $1.55 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.15 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
