Musical Group “The Tenors” Issue Apology After Changing O’Canada Lyrics

The Tenors have issued an apology after thousands of outraged Canadians took to social media last night, after the singing of O’Canada at the Major League Baseball All-Star Game in San Diego.

During the group’s performance, they changed the lyrics to the anthem, adding the line “We are brothers, we are sisters, All lives matter to the brave,” as opposed to “With glowing hearts we see thee rise, The True North strong and free.”

A sign was also held up, that stated “All Lives Matter.”

In the apology posted to Twitter last night, The Tenors stated that it was the fault of one member of the group…and that they are deeply sorry for the disrepectful and misguided lack of judgement.

The group claims that the one member changed the lyrics of the anthem to serve his own political views, and that Remigio Pereira, who is accused of changing the lyrics, will not be performing with the group until further notice.
