A business in Petitcodiac has been destroyed by fire.
Firefighters responded to a fire at a welding shop on Havelock Road shortly before 11 p.m. Monday night.
Petitcodiac Fire requested mutual aid with numerous departments arriving on scene.
Water had to be trucked in since there were no fire hydrants nearby.
Moncton Fire supplied a tanker and an engine.
Riverview, Salisbury, Elgin, Havelock, Anagance and Penobsquis Fire Departments were also involved.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
