An 18-year-old Riverview man has been arrested after a police officer was struck by an ATV during a traffic stop.
Late Sunday afternoon, a police officer pulled over an ATV on Country Club Road in Riverview.
Once stopped, the driver of the ATV tried to flee and struck the officer in the process.
The man was later tracked down and arrested in Riverview but he was eventually released on a promise to appear in court in July.
The officer was treated in hospital for minor injuries.
