It was another big win for the Moncton Wildcats last night in Halifax as they tied the best of seven series with the Halifax Mooseheads at two, by getting the win 3 to 2 in overtime.
Game five returns to New Brunswick on Friday, but fans will have to travel to the Aitken Centre in Fredericton to see the game, due to a conflict and doublebooking at the Moncton Coliseum.
Director of Business Operations for the Moncton Wildcats Ryan Jenner says the fans are the ones who suffer in all of this, and they are trying their best to accommodate.
He says they are looking in buses, trying to come up with a scenario that could possibly work, but due to time constraints, logistics, bus availability and insurance, it could be tough. He says they do have a team working on it.
The cost to move the game to Fredericton came with a price of $125, 000. Jenner says that amount was arrived at through negotiations between the Wildcats and the City. It pays the cost associated with moving the game to Fredericton and the lost revenue.
