Having a crummy day, and looking for a way to vent?
Maybe the Moncton Vipers Women’s Tackle Football League is for you.
Player Jocelyn MacLellan says the majority of the women on the team didn’t have any experience with tackle football when they first came out, “It is a very agressive and time consuming sport, when it comes to your body and time committment, but it is very rewarding in the long run. We have fundamental practices, where the girls learn rules, positions and really anything. As long as you are willing to have fun and try hard.”
The team is in need of more members for their season that runs until the end of June. Women over 18 years old are able to join, but you must register before the May 31st deadline.
