Moncton man faces prison time for mini-home crash

MONCTON, N.B. – A Moncton man could be headed to prison for crashing his vehicle into a Lakeville mini-home last spring.

Shawn Hickey, 25, has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, leaving the scene of an accident and breach of undertaking.

The collision took place on April 12th at the home on Biddington Avenue.

No one was seriously hurt, but a family of four – including two young children – were inside at the time.

Sentencing has been set for September 15th.
