MONCTON, N.B. – Residents will get a chance to find out where Moncton East candidates stand on important issues at the first of a series of community-led Q-and-A events tonight.
The Moncton chapter of the Council of Canadians is hosting the session at the Kay Arena/Crossman Centre from 7 until 9 p.m.
Candidates will answer questions on a wide range of topics including the economy, health, education, social justice and the environment.
Moncton Council of Canadians spokesperson Pamela Ross says they hope the non-partisan events will create an opportunity for direct citizen engagement.
