A group of concerned residents in Metro Moncton have come together to try and tackle the issue of homelessness in the community.
Mission Possible is the name of a day-long event which has been organized for Riverview on August 29.
Spokesperson Nikki McHugh says the event will hopefully be a catalyst which brings all groups together who help the homeless.
She says it will enable everyone to combine funds, skills and the desire to help and help those in need.
Mission Possible will be held at Riverview’s Caseley Park on Saturday, August 29 from Noon until 11-pm with food vendors and lots of free entertainment for the whole family.
Donations are appreciated and money raised will support the fight against homelessness.
