Miramichi MLA Bill Fraser has been busy getting to to know the key players and stakeholders in his new post as minister of tourism, heritage and culture.
Fraser is also the minister responsible for the Northern and Miramichi Funds which he says will be vital in opening up the North.
Fraser says this portfolio is a tool for job creation and economic development which are key planks of the Gallant government.
Since being named to the post, Fraser adds he has been reaching out to entrepreneurs and other stakeholders in the North who are looking to expand their businesses.
