The 35th annual Terry Fox Run is being held in Metro Moncton this Sunday, September 20th.
Registration begins at noon at Riverfront Park near the old fire station and the run starts at 1-pm.
Tri-Community Run spokesperson Aloma Jardine says the event is unique since there is no miniumum donation required and all you have to do is show up.
Jardine says you can walk, run or even roll during the 1-K, 5-K or 10-K route along the Riverfront Park trail system.
Youth ambassador Emma Caissie, 10, of Cocagne will be on hand to get the event started.
Emma was diagnosed with osteosarcoma last year – the same type of cancer Terry Fox faced.
Funds raised will support the Terry Fox Foundation for cancer research.
