The population of Metro Moncton continues to grow at a healthy pace.
Statistics Canada has unveiled population estimates for the nation’s 33 census metropolitan areas as of July last year.
The figures show Metro Moncton had a population of 146,073 – making it the largest urban area in New Brunswick and the third largest in Atlantic Canada.
The population has grown since the last official census in 2011 when the Hub City metro area had 138,644 residents.
