Man Accused In Connection With Python Deaths To Return To Court In November

A 38-year-old man accused in connection with the deaths of two boys in Campbellton, will return to court in November for a preliminary hearing.

Jean Claude Savoie is charged with criminal negligence causing the deaths of 4 year old Noah Barthe and his 6 year old brother Connor.

They were strangled to death by an African rock python in August 2013..while at a sleepover in the apartment where the snake was being housed.

Savoie has elected to be tried by judge and jury.

The preliminary hearing has been scheduled for November 23rd.
