Local Group Suggests Water Be Offered To Those In Need During Extreme Heat

The heat continues across the region, with a forecasted high of 30 degrees today.

That is making it extremely difficult for those who are working outdoors or who don’t have a place to go to cool off.

A local group is more people to step up, and provide water to those in need.

The Founder of Big Hearts, Small City Jason Surrette says several organizations are already providing water, including the Moncton Fire, City of Moncton, Homeless Shelters, YMCA Reconnect and the Salvation Army on King Street, but he would like more businesses offer refills and access to a tap if needed.
