A three-member transition team has been formed by Premier designate Brian Gallant to work with the civil service in the lead up to the swearing in of the new provincial cabinet.
The transition team is being chaired by lawyer Len Hoyt of Fredericton. He’s a partner and chairs the board at McInnes Cooper, one of the largest law firms in this part of the country.
The other two members are Don Ferguson who retired in 2012 as deputy minister of health and Ellen Creighton who worked as an investigator and advisor at the Competition Bureau before returning to New Brunswick in 2013 to become executive director of the New Brunswick Liberal Association. Part of her job will be to turn the party platform into government policies.
