The largest running event in the province is being held in Metro Moncton today.
Runners will line up on Main Street on Sunday for the 16th annual Legs For Literacy.
Race Director Susan Edgett says they have thousands signed up this year.
“It’s looking like about 3,000 or more in the streets of Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe,” says Edgett.
All of the money raised goes to literacy intiatives, adding they work closely with school districts and literacy association in the area.
Runners have the choice of 5, 10, 21 or a 42 kilometre run.
