Kids Going Back To School Are Getting A Helping Hand

The Salvation Army in Greater Moncton is getting a boost with their back to school supply program.

Sleepcountry Canada is participating in the Backpack for Kids campaign, to raise much needed school supplies for families in need.

Company cofounder Christine Magee says these programs add valuable to both communities and companies.

“I think the community benefits, but I have to say it’s also important for our company, it’s very meaningful when we can work together and make a difference,” says Magee.

She says it’s important to help families who can’t afford to put those supplies together, because it gives kids the confidence to start the year on the right foot.
