A trial is expected to get underway this morning in Moncton for a 25 year old man accused of kidnapping his ex girlfriend.
Hyper James A’Hern of Fredericton has elected to be tried by judge and jury.
He is facing several charges including kidnapping, uttering death threats and criminal harassment.
RCMP received reports in August last year, that a 19 year old woman was forced against her will to go with a man in downtown Moncton.
