Join Millions Tonight In Earth Hour

Don’t be surprised if your neighbours turn their lights off for a full hour tonight. They’re probably taking part in Earth Hour.

It’s an annual event meant to spread awareness about sustainability and climate change, started by the World Wildlife Fund in 2007.

It takes place from 8:30-9:30 PM, no matter where you are in the world. Turning off your lights and electronics can reduce your household’s carbon footprint.

Millions of people around the world take part in the event, including landmarks like Big Ben, the Sydeny Opera House, and the Eiffel Tower.
