It’s National Cervical Cancer Awareness Week

About 30 New Brunswick women are diagnosed with the disease each year, and 10 will die of it.

It is the third most commonly diagnosed cancer for women aged 20-49 in Canada.

Women are being encouraged to have the proper screening and vaccinations to reduce the risk of developing cervical cancer.
