It’s Bullying Prevention Week!

Students are taking part in activities across the province this week that teach more about respecting others.

It’s all part of Bullying Prevention Week.

Mentor with Anglophone East Cathy Leblanc says it’s an important subject that must be addressed.

She says, “It’s absolutely something that we talk about all year long, and try to make sure that students come to school and feel like they are in a safe environment. If they don’t feel that they are, they have to know what they can do about it.”

There will be a different focus each day this week including building healthy relationships, cyberbullying, diversity and promoting positive mental health..
