Rumours are swirling that IKEA is returning to Atlantic Canada.
The Swedish-based furniture and home goods maker has said the company president and the mayor of Halifax will be making an important announcement in the Nova Scotia capital on Friday.
However, both sides are keeping quiet until that time.
IKEA once had a store in Dartmouth but it shut down in the 1980’s.
