Incoming Premier Brian Gallant says he will have a cabinet of just 13 members including himself which will make it the smallest since 1965.
Gallant says his focus will be on creating jobs and doesn’t see a tax hike for the richest one per cent of earners in the province hurting that effort.
He’s also vowing to streamline the provincial government by having fewer departments.
Gallant will be sworn in as Premier tomorrow afternoon in the Legislature at 2:00. We will also find out tomorrow the makeup of the provincial cabinet. The M-L-A’s will be sworn in at a later date.
