Parents who have children who are due to start school in September 2016, are encouraged to register them now.
Early Childhood Services Director for Anglophone East Clare Archibald says children who are registered now will be able to take part in all of the school activities that fully prepare them for their education.
Those activities include an early years evaluation direct assessment that takes a look at their developmental strengths, and identifies areas where they may need extra help.
An orientation to Kindergarten program is also offered where children and parents can spend time in the child’s future classroom.
