Hundreds gathered outside Moncton City Hall last night for a vigil for support, and solidarity for all
Mohamed Ali M’halla posted to Facebook, that the Muslim community is worried about their future and the future of our children but we remain hopeful and we keep our trust in Canadian society where they feel safe.
He added, they call on the government to take its responsibilities and to protect the various minorities in this country. The Muslim community is currently the target of this kind of threats and we must act quickly in seen combat and punish islamophobia, discrimination and violence and especially to develop a strategy of awareness.
People of all race and religion attended the vigil.

This comes after yesterday’s shooting during evening prayers at a mosque in Quebec City…
Six people were killed, and 5 others remain in critical condition.
