Lots of laughter will be returning to Metro Moncton during the dead of winter.
The 15th annual Hubcap Comedy Festival returns in February with some of the brightest and funniest comics in Canada.
Event manager Robert Gallant says this year’s theme is centered around zombies and the Night of the Laughing Dead.
“Every movie, everything from Hollywood lately, is zombie this, zombie that… so we figured who are we to argue, we’ll go with that theme and of course ‘The Nights of the Laughing Dead’, so it’s a good fit for us.”
This year’s roster of killer comedians includes Elvira Kurt, Nikki Payne and Marshall Button, who is also the president of the Hubcap Festival.
Shows will be held at the Capitol Theatre at numerous bar venues throughout Metro Moncton.
