The top trophy of the Canadian Football League is in Greater Moncton today with a hometown hero.
Edmonton Eskimos fullback Mike Miller is in town with his family, along with the Grey Cup.
He spent the morning touring his old middle and high school as well as showing off the trophy at Riverview Town Hall.
Miller said his visit back with the Cup has been wonderful.
“The high school was awesome, the middle school was awesome, and this is just getting started, but seeing all of this, like I said before it’s humbling, that’s the only word I can really describe,” says Miller.
He also offered inspiration to students today saying determination and hard work can overcome any obstacles.
