Tens of thousands of residents in Greater Moncton are dealing with Tropical Storm Dorian in the dark.
As of around 9:41 this evening, over 41, 000 NB Power residents in the region were without power. Across the province, the total was over 75, 000. This as the storm continued to pound the region.
Big flashes of lights could be seen as transformers were knocked out as a result of high winds.

Codiac Transpo was pulled off the roads as of 9:15pm tonight, because of bad weather conditions.
Motorists endured large pools of water on roadways.
Sirens and the lights of emergency vehicles could be heard at various times as they responded to accidents, power outages and other emergencies.
High winds downed trees in several neighbourhoods, while branches and leaves littered the roads.

The Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island was also closed to all traffic due to high winds. As of 10pm, they were reporting winds gusts of up to 130 km/h.
