Higgs Wants Questions Answered Under Oath

Opposition leader Blaine Higgs isn’t ready to let Premier Brian Gallant off the hook for the inflated property tax assessments just yet.

Auditor-General Kim MacPherson put the blame on Service New Brunswick but Higgs says there’s still a lot of vagueness about who said what to whom.

He would like to see the former C-E-O of Service New Brunswick, the director of modernisation and the Premier’s chief of staff questioned under oath. Provincial Green party Leader David Coon says Service New Brunswick would be more accountable if it were still a government department.
