UPDATE: More Messy Weather On The Way

We could be in for some more messy weather later this weekend.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for all of New Brunswick.

Snow will begin Sunday afternoon and become heavy at times in the evening before ending Monday morning.

Forecasters say it will likely change through ice pellets to rain in southern regions late Sunday evening.

“It is still too early to forecast exact amounts,” reads the statement. “However, there is a high likelihood that warnings will be issued later [Saturday] for much of the province, especially northern regions.”

Forecasters say strong winds will also give blowing snow Sunday night and early Monday morning.
