Heart and Stroke Foundation Urges New Brunswickers To Get Back To Basics

Christine Roherty is the Director of Heart Healthy Children and Youth, she says Canadians need to focus on a diet of natural/whole foods and to avoid highly processed foods.

She says cooking foods from scratch at home is a great way of improving your diet versus just choosing a low fat option.

Roherty says most people in New Brunswick aren’t living a heart healthy lifestyle, which puts people at risk of heart disease and stroke.
