Green Party leader David Coon wants to see M-L-A’s elected by proportional representation that would be based on the percentage of votes each party receives.
He’s also proposing transparency laws that would require all government contracts to be available on-line.
Coon maintains, for far too long, back room deals have been made between corporations and the government. He has been especially critical of the 25 year agreement on forestry reached by the Alward Government with J-D Irving.
