The Greater Moncton River of Pride Committee has announced the grand marshal for this year’s pride parade.
Joselyn O’Connor is a transgender woman who spent many years coming to terms with what is now understood as gender dysphoria.
Joselyn began volunteering with a local support group in 2015 and is currently the New Brunswick coordinator for UBU Atlantic, an organization supporting the transgender population, their families and friends.
Featuring 25 events for the LGBTQ community, Greater Moncton Pride Week begins August 19th with the parade being held on Saturday, August 26th.
