Go Raw Organic Spicy Seed Mix Recalled Over Salmonella Fears

Concerns over possible salmonella contamination have prompted a recall of the “Go Raw” brand of organic spicy seed mix.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency hasn’t received any reports yet of anyone getting sick but they say salmonella doesn’t leave any noticeable clues.

The best before date on the recalled product is May 12 of this year and it’s the 454 gram bag.

CFIA warns salmonella can induce fever, nausea, headaches, vomiting and other symptoms in healthy people.

The dangers are multipled for young children, the elderly, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems.
