Have you ever seen a life size gingerbread house? If not, here’s your chance.
Stop by the Delta Beausejour and bring along a non perishable food item.
Chef Stefan Mueller says it took 300 hours to create, and it needed a lot of ingredients including 33 kilos of shortening, 80 kilos of molasses, and 110 kilos of icing. It also needed 10 kilos of assorted candies, which were placed on the house by several children who helped to decorate.
This year’s display also features gingerbread children and a chocolate mousse.
It will be on display right throught the Christmas season.
All donated food items will be given to Food Depot Alimentaire.
