What’s it like being an astronaut…….You can find out tomorrow night at Harbour Station when astronaut and former test pilot Chris Hadfield comes to Saint John to talk about his experiences in space and what he saw during his three missions which include seeing a sunrise and sunset every 45 minutes and the world every 92 minutes.
He says we have learned more in the past week about comets than ever before since the Rosetta mission landed on one 500 million kilometers from earth. Hadfield speculates the odds of doing that successfully were astronomical, comparing the landing of a small spacecraft on a speeding comet to the early exploration of Antarctica.
Looking to the future, Hadfield says he can see tphe time when people will be able to settle on the mon.
