The maximum price for gasoline fell 3.5 cents on Thursday night.
The most you will now pay for regular self-serve is $1.86 per litre.
Diesel prices climbed 2.9 cents to a new maximum of $2.03 per litre.
Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.
In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve now ranges from $1.83 to $1.87 per litre, while diesel is selling for between $1.98 and $2.03 per litre.
On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.84 per litre, while diesel costs around $2.03 per litre.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
