Gas prices continue downward trend in New Brunswick

There’s more good news at gas pumps across New Brunswick.

An industry source reports regular self-serve will drop about 1.7 cents when the Energy and Utilities Board makes its weekly adjustment.

That would bring the maximum price to $1.80 per litre.

Unfortunately, it looks like diesel will see an increase of 3.3 cents per litre, bringing the maximum to just over $2.20.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.81 to $1.83 per litre, while diesel is selling for between $2.09 and $2.11 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the maximum price for regular self-serve is about $1.84 per litre, diesel is at $2.19 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of about $1.57 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board makes its regular weekly adjustment to prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
