Free Y Memberships For Students In Grade 5

Some students will get the chance once again to get fit for free.

The YMCA of Greater Moncton is offering memberships to grade 5 students in the community.

This is the sixth year of the program.

The memberships will be available starting on October 1st, and are active until June 30th.

They give access to things like swimming lessons, exercise classes, and other activities.

The purpose of our free Grade 5 membership program is to get kids moving and inspire them to lead active, healthy lives, all while having fun!” says April Morton, VP of Child Services for the local Y.

To register, go to the YMCA on or after October 1st, along with a parent or guardian. Bring a final Grade 4 report card or a Grade 5 confirmation letter from school to sign up. Parents complete paperwork and sign a registration form. Students can then use their membership immediately.
