Eight people have been left temporarily homeless, after a fire in Richibucto.
A spokesperson for the Canadian Red Cross says the two storey building was extensively damaged by fire yesterday afternoon.
Volunteers with the Red Cross arranged emergency lodging and food for those who were displaced. They were able to retrieve a few personal items and clothing from their homes once the fire was out.
No one was hurt.
There’s no word yet on what caused the fire.
