On New Year’s Eve, about 20 residents were forced out of an apartment building in Riverview.
A fire started in a basement apartment in a Pine Glen Road building at around 10 o’clock.
Tenants from the second and third floors were allowed back in, but those on the first floor were forced to find other accommodations because of smoke damage.
There’s no word on a cause yet.
