Another Dip IN NB Gas Prices

We saw another dip in gas prices this week in New Brunswick…

Regular self serve gas dipped by 2.1 cents a litre, and most stations in Moncton are now selling for around 95 cents a litre.

We asked the senior petroleum analyst with www.Gasbuddy.com whether or not he expects this to continue in 2015..

Dan McTeague says others are suggesting that this is the end, but he disagrees and says, “I think there’s still a lot more to go as far as lower prices are concerned. Perhaps another four or five cents, before the traders involved with bulk production and specualtion find the proper floor for oil prices.”

He says it is a very difficult to positively predict, because no one has a crystal ball into the future of oil prices, but he is very optimistic.

Diesel prices also fell this week by 2.6 cents a litre.
